Medicare OKs coverage of high-risk CT lung screening

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services propose to cover annual low-dose CT lung screening for patients at high risk for lung cancer.

Preventive low-dose CT screening for patients at high risk for lung cancer would be covered by federal health insurance, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services proposed today.
