BTG to buy PneumRx for up to $475m

British healthcare company BTG agrees to pay up to $475 million for PneumRx and its RePneu Coil for treating emphysema.

(Reuters) — BTG, the healthcare group best known for treating rattlesnake bites and varicose veins, is expanding into lung care by buying a California firm that has developed a device to prop open airways.
