ExThera joins DARPA sepsis project

ExThera Medical joins NxStage Medical and Battelle on a project with the Pentagon's DARPA arm to develop a medical device to treat sepsis.

ExThera Medical signed on to a multi-company U.S. Defense Dept. contract focused on developing a medical device to treat sepsis. The California company's main contribution: A 2nd-generation version of its Seraph blood-filtering tech.
