FDA: Olympus sold 'superbug' scopes without our clearance




The FDA confirms that Olympus put the endoscopes implicated in a series of deadly 'superbug' hospital-acquired infections on the U.S. market with the agency's clearance, as more hospitals in Los Angeles and Connecticut report infections linked to the scopes.
