Brainscope today announced a number of new assignments to its executive roster, assigning 4 new picks to its c-suite.
The Bethesda, Ma.-based neurotech company picked up Dr. Leslie Prichep as chief scientific officer, Kerstin Schultz as president and COO, Angad Singh as chief technology officer, and promoted Laurie Silver to CFO.
“These additions to our leadership team will help us build upon the positive momentum that we have established over the last several years,” CEO Michael Singer said in a press release.
New prez and COO Schultz spent 4 years as vice president of global project management with Allergan, after spending 9 years in various positions with Baxter (NYSE:BAX). Previous to her time there, Schultz spent 2 years as a manager at A.T. Kearney.
Brainscope’s new CTO Singh came from an executive position at CardioMEMs, before it was acquired by St. Jude Medical (NYSE:STJ). Singh led CardioMEMs flagship heart failure sensor product from concept to commercialization, Brainscope said. Singh was also director for the development and commercialization of the EndoSure sensor.
Silver is transitioning to Brainscope from her position as director of mergers & acquisitions for the services group at Symantec, where she was responsible for leading the company’s $13 billion merger with Veritas.
