3. NDC closes Interface Catheter buy, rebrands as Confluent
Nitinol Devices & Components said it closed its acquisition of Interface Catheter Solutions and announced it will rebrand the new combined company as Confluent Medical Technologies.
Confluent Medical will leverage both NDC and Interface technologies to expand its relationships with customers in the endovascular, neurovascular, transcatheter heart valve, peripheral vascular, orthopedic and other markets, the company said. Read more
2. Endo reports Q2 beat on rev, earnings
Endo Health Solutions reported 2nd quarter earnings that beat expectations for revenue and earnings per share by a fair margin while continuing its acquisition plans for Par Pharmaceuticals.
Endo International reported losses of $250.5 million, or $1.35 per share, on sales of $735.2 million for the 3 months ended June 30. Read more
1. HeartWare completes enrollment in Endurance2 HVAD trial
HeartWare International said it completed enrollment of its Endurance 2 destination therapy trial of its HeartWare ventricular assist system.
The trial seeks to examine the rate of stroke in patients treated with HeartWare’s HVAD device as well as optimal blood pressure management, the company said. Read more
