General Electric (NYSE:GE) division Datex Ohmeda won a $19.9 million modification to an existing contract to supply the US Department of Defense with patient monitoring systems, subsystems, accessories, consumables and training, according to a DoD release posted yesterday.
The fixed-price, economic-price-adjustment contract is on the ninth one-year option extension of an initial one-year base contract, with services delivered to Wisconsin and a performance completion date of March 5, 2019.
Products and services are being used by the US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies, according to a DoD release.
Last month, GE’s Healthcare division said it is supplying a bespoke advanced analytics solution for both the Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang this year and the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020.
