BC Technical acquires MRI/CT parts & service company Magnaserv

BC Technical said yesterday it acquired MRI and CT focused independent service organization MagnaServ.

West Jordan, Utah-based BC Technical is the U.S.’s largest non-OEM medical imaging parts supplier, providing refurbished imaging parts and on-site service, the company said.

“This has been a very exciting year for the BC Technical family. We made a commitment to provide our customers the most cost-effective solutions paired with unsurpassed service, and part of that plan has been the ongoing strategic acquisition of companies that will allow us to be the only true alternative to the OEM,” BC Technical CEO Mark Alvarez said in a press release.

The purchase of Stuart, Fla.-based MagnaServ expands BC Technical’s field engineers and technical support base for its customers, the company said.

Our focus on identifying our client’s core needs, and partnering with them to develop a customized solution, has built our reputation as a solid service provider.
