A judge in Ireland reportedly dismissed the jury in a trial over threats made against Creganna Medical founder Ian Quinn by a neighbor.
David Corbett, 48, was charged with making threats to kill or injure Quinn to three men between January 2012 and February 2014. Corbett’s trial began last week; he pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Judge Martina Baxter, of Castlebar Circuit Criminal Court in County Mayo, this week told the 11-member jury that “matters had evolved” and the trial was being adjourned because it would take much longer than the initial estimate of three weeks, RTE reported.
In February 2016, TE Connectivity (NYSE:TEL) paid $895 million in cash for Creganna.
