Murj launches OnSite cardiac device management workflow platform

Murj

Murj said today it launched the OnSite cloud-based in-office cardiac device management workflow platform.

The OnSite software is an extension of the company’s remote transmission management workflow products, and combines both in-office visits and remote transmissions into a single longitudinal patient view, Santa Cruz, Calif.-based company said.

“Our mission is to empower clinicians with newfound insight and transformative ease of care in their efforts to triage the voluminous data emanating from life-saving implantable cardiac devices. The ability to support both remote care and in-office care in a unified cloud-based platform is a game changer for the industry,” Murj founder & CEO Todd Butka said in a prepared statement.

Murj said that its cloud-based platform has been implemented at the Alaska Heart & Vascular Institute to help manage its 6,500 cardiac device patients.

“Implantable cardiac device data allows physicians to make critical decisions in patient care, but only if that data is easily accessible, well-organized and digestible. The Murj platform delivers this clarity across all of our device patients and enables our goal of providing the highest quality cardiovascular services in the northwest United States. We are proud to partner with Murj,” Alaska Heart & Vascular Institute CEO Robert Craig III said in a prepared release.

“The launch of OnSite sets Murj apart with a unified workflow across all interrogation modalities— both in-office and remote. Now we spend more time with patients and less time on data entry. Murj has been a terrific partner in responding to our needs; we couldn’t be more pleased,” Alaska Heart & Vascular Institute FNP Laurie Racenet said in a press release.

Last May, Murj said that it launched its cardiovascular device data consolidation program, with plans to present the platform at the Heart Rhythm Society’s scientific sessions conference later this week.
