Private Equity firm Dimension Capital Management Partners has raised $17.5 million for its DCM Surgery series fund, according to an SEC filing posted this week.
DCM Ventures is a venture capital firm that normally makes investments in secondary transactions, venture capital, buyouts and secondary funds, according to a Bloomberg overview.
Money raised in the fund came from a total of 42 unnamed investors, according to the SEC filing, with the first investment noted on April 20.
The firm has not yet stated how it plans to spend money raised for the fund, but is not seeking any more money for it, according to the SEC filing. The fund is being managed by DCM managing partner Miguel Duenas, according to the filing.
