Zimmer Biomet (NYSE:ZBH) is opening a new office location in Fairfield, Conn., the hometown of its recently appointed CEO Bryan Hanson, according to a CTPost report.
The location will served as an “East Coast hub” for Hanson and other executives in the area, according to the report, and will serve as the second New York City-area location alongside its research and manufacturing facility in Parsippany, N.J.
The company is renting 9,000 square-feet of space in Fairfield’s Stamford Metro Center, which could house as many as 50 employees, according to CTPost.
Zimmer Biomet has not yet officially stated how many employees it expects will work from the new office.
Last month, the FDA released the warning letter it sent to Zimmer Biomet over quality violations found during 2016 and 2018 inspections at a plant in Warsaw, Ind.
