AUBURN, NH – Sunrise Labs, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Soederberg as President, effective June 12, 2015. Soederberg, former Vice President and General Manager of Sunrise, is now the Chief Executive of Sunrise Labs.
Drew Sunstein, Founder and former President, remains actively involved in the company as Chairman of the Board. Sunstein announced this appointment during a company meeting on Friday morning.
“Since joining Sunrise seven years ago, Eric has taken increasing responsibility for company leadership. His contributions include gaining ISO certifications, increasing staff, expanding physical operations, and other initiatives resulting in company growth of over 20% CAGR over the past four years. I am confident in his ability to continue to grow and expand our capabilities to support current and future client’s product development needs,” said Sunstein.
“I’m honored and pleased to accept this role and the challenges inherent in the continued growth of Sunrise Labs. We have a tremendously talented team, and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead of us,” said Soederberg.
Soederberg has over twenty years of experience leading a wide variety of product development enterprises. Prior to joining Sunrise Labs in 2008, Soederberg was Executive Director of Programs for medical device manufacturer KMC Systems. In a previous role at DEKA Research and Development, Soederberg led thedevelopment of the world’s first iBOTTM Mobility System taking it all the way to the market.
Soederberg holds multiple patents in medical device technologies, and earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Soederberg lives in Bedford, NH with his wife Beth and two sons.
