3. Mevion pulls plug on $69m IPO
Mevion Medical withdrew plans for the $69 million initial public offering it registered for last fall, according to an SEC filing published last week.
The company produces single-room-proton therapy systems, a smaller, cheaper radiation therapy system for targeting cancerous tumors. Read more
2. Boston Scientific closes $1.6B Endo urology portfolio buy
Boston Scientific said it closed its $1.6 billion acquisition of the Endo Health Solutions owned American Medical Systems urology portfolio, including its men’s health and prostate health businesses.
The deal consists of a $1.6 billion up-front payment and a potential $50 million milestone payment based on 2016 sales, according to the companies. Read more

Boston Scientific said it inked a sales and marketing deal with cardio-focused remote patient care company Preventice Solutions.
The new deal will position medical device giant Boston Scientific as Preventice’s exclusive sales and marketing representative for its cardiology-related diagnostic and monitoring offerings, the companies said. Read more
